But fear not! Joshua 1:8 says, "Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." If we live by the Word, we are sure to triumph. If we study His teachings and really let it soak in to our lives, we won't be like blue gills that fall for the same bait.

distractions
There are so many distractions around me on so many different levels. Distracted from my studies, distracted from the spirit, distracted right now with this blog. It's almost laughable when I think about how clear and obvious the devil works and we walk into his traps as if there is a carrot dangling from a string under a box. Or sometimes we're like those stupid blue gills that swim after the same bait not once, but multiple times. It's true, God tells us that He will never put us through things that we are not capable of doing. But these are things that we are capable of doing! But sin takes the best of us and makes us feel inadequate and worthless.
