Sounds like our generation.. Corruption, lust, sexual immorality, evil, murder, lies, deceit, selfishness, apathy...
"4 "Their deeds do not permit them
to return to their God.
A spirit of prostitution is in their heart;
they do not acknowledge the LORD."
We're completely immersed in sin and immorality that we wouldn't even recognize God even if we saw Him..
" 15 Then I will go back to my place
until they admit their guilt.
And they will seek my face;
in their misery they will earnestly seek me."
God threatens to abandon Israel as His people until they truly seek repentance from their evil ways. So typical of us to have to reach rock-bottom before coming back up.. when we have no other choice but to come back up.
