"3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance" Romans 2:3-4
God's justice is exemplified here in verse 3. When Tupac was saying that "only God can judge me" he was pretty on point. Although I think now my issue with judging is distinguishing between judging and pure concern for another. And if it's the latter, how does one go about showing it without coming off as judgmental?
I also think it's important to note in verse 4 that it is only by God's kindness that results in repenting hearts. Nothing we do or say to/for another will make them change their minds, habits, addictions, etc. But it is only by God's will and grace that we should be saved and return to Him. Otherwise, we are all in contempt and we are questioning God's supreme power and thus His very nature.
