Spiritual leaders are still human after all and are subject to temptation and weakness just like the the rest of us. They go through seminary (or not) and they are appointed by law to their positions in order to lead their church. Jesus is above all priests. He has been appointed by the Spirit, by the Father Himself so that he could lead the world into salvation. He is the perfect example by which we can fully rely on.
