waterfall

You don't get very many moments of utter beauty living in the suburbs of Indiana.. Although sometimes if you look realllly carefully you might get lucky. Yesterday mom and I went shopping to Sam's Club, and as soon as we pushed our cart full of groceries out about to make our way to the car, it started raining. No, rain would be a huge understatement. It was a waterfall. It was as if God had just cranked up the dial and it was just sheets of water  pouring down for a good 5 mins. There was really nothing we could do but stand there in awe and watch the earth drown. Nevertheless, even among the loud gusts of wind and heavy storm, I felt strangely calm as I stared at the black-grey clouds and shopping carts flying across the parking lot. I think this is what storm chasers feel when they're out trying to film a tornado. It was pretty sick being in the midst of it all.
