Barnabas.

Last week my friend Uno shared a link with me and I was so blessed by it that I wanted to share it with anyone out there reading this.

Just follow the link here: Desiring God

It is one of John Piper's messages about the makings of a great leader-maker. He referenced Barnabas as one of the great leaders of the biblical times and how he influenced others, especially Saul-turned-Paul into being a great leader as well. John Piper also gave a great guideline of what a good Christian leader looks like and how they can influence others to be a leader, and I think it makes a good checklist for me to see if I am on the right track as a leader myself.

Five Marks of a Biblical Leader-Maker

1. Risk-taking
2. Having a good eye and a glad heart
3. Humble and self-effacing
4. Patient with the failure of others
5. Free from materialism
