With only a few weeks left until semester's end, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is burnt out with school. And on top of that, we still have church activities going on, which can get burdensome to try and balance out our schedules each week. My mom called me today and asked me what I was up to. I told her I was on my way to prayer meeting, and she said, "Don't you guys meet up on Fridays too? And Saturdays?" "Yes." "Wow, so that's 4 days a week? You guys meet up for church more than we (adults) do during the week." I don't know whether it's because of the weather, the end of fall semester creeping around the corner, or it's just my mood that I'm feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. My head is everywhere, and I can't even remember what I did yesterday. I had to stop for a second today and figure what day it was (Wednesday, right?) . But amidst all of the chaos, Jesus told me in verse 28 that He would give me rest if I go to Him. That gives me great encouragement to know that my Father sees me and knows what I'm going through, and offers me comfort. All I need to do is go to Him.
