I used to be really into this show called Mind Freak where this weird dude named Criss Angel would pull all these illusions/magic tricks in public. There was one stunt he pulled where he was at a las vegas hotel swimming pool and "successfully" "walked on water". Technology these days, man.. They can make anything look so real on tv. It reminded me of when the Lord performed all those miracles through Moses in front of Pharoah, and their magicians replicated those same miracles through their magic and illusions. Anyway, Jesus walked on water forreals- without the help of transparent fiber glass underwater. I read all these miracles that Jesus performed on the sick and diseased, and sometimes I think, "Heck, if I saw Jesus walking on water like that, I would believe too." But Jesus performs miracles all around us even today. The only difference is that the people back then had such faith; and I think that's what we lack today. We are constantly deceived by false prophets and amazing computer graphics, that we become desensitized to the extraordinary works that God does in our lives. We take them for granted and become skeptics. We are like Peter- we want to believe and have that faith, yet we lack it so much and end up drowning. Jesus cries out to us, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" Good question..
