I think it's interesting how everything you learn--in your classes, in conversations, in sermons, from the news, etc, ultimately all come together and you begin to see the bigger picture of God's glory, the Purpose of our life here on earth. I say this because as I was reading this particular sermon from John Piper, it reminded me of the discussion in our Women's Studies course yesterday about people with disabilities. So to me, it's really great that I am so privileged to have this higher education and receive knowledge in that way. Yet I'm also so blessed to know Jesus Christ who humbled himself so that I may in turn humble myself to learn and love the things and people of this world we are naturally taught to hate.
