"9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."
What a perfect passage to end the week. If I read this earlier during this week I wouldn't really have thought too much about it and skipped on to Ephesians. Just a few things on my mind.. But before I get to that, I just want to say that I had a pretty rough week and I'm so glad that I got through it in one piece. With that said:
1) I am so thankful for my small group. Until Thursday, I was just about to throw in the towel and drown in my bitterness and frustrations. It was to the point where I was about to call off my SG dinner because I didn't want to show myself in such a state. But that night they made me feel so much better without even knowing.
2) Today's Bible study was somewhat of a wake up call for me from this week.
3) Like Joe was talking about in his sermon last week, attitude is everything...
Only 6 chapters of Galatians, that was fast. It was perfect timing that I decided to read this book because most of what Paul was saying was rebuking, which is exactly what I needed this past week. But he ends the chapter with "you reap what you sow." If you go in with a bad attitude, you produce bad results. If you go in with a good attitude, you produce not-so-bad results. =) God tells me not to become weary at the work we are doing... We merely plant the seeds, God makes them grow. Do not give up...
