These three books always come to mind when I think about books that stuck with me. I swear I'm not crazy or messed up when I say that books/stories/movies about child victims are depressingly fascinating. I wasn't abused or anything as a child; on the contrary, I loved my childhood, so to read about children who grew up being mistreated and considered even less than a dog, frightens and intrigues me.
