Parent Trap has got to be one of my favorite movies of all time. I just fished it out of my stack of old VHS tapes from childhood and took a trip down memory lane. I remember watching it almost everyday with my best friend. I don't know why I liked it so much watching it as a kid. I know why I like it now- because it brings me back to memories of when life was much simpler.. when rewinding/fastforwarding only took a press of a button rather than clicking through chapters on a dvd program.. when Disney movies ruled the world.. when I had this much time to watch Disney movies all day long without any stress of exams and papers due.. when Lindsay Lohan was adorable and mentally stable. I guess I also really liked this film because it made me think even as a child living with a single parent that maybe, just maybe, there was still hope even for my divorced parents to somehow rekindle the love that they once had but lost because of infidelity. But even at age 11, I knew that was a long shot. I didn't have a long lost twin that I could trade places with and come up with some grand elaborate scheme to bring our parents back together. What a crazy story line, hahaha- Still, this movie gave me many great memories- soundtrack and all.Greatest handshake of all handshakes that I used to practice when I was little hahaha:
