"11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in" (Proverbs 3:11-12)
We think God punishes us and brings strife upon our lives because we deserve it.. and sometimes we do; but we need to remain faithful in the fact that He loves us. These challenges and hurdles we must jump over are God's way of building our character and training us.
