Best Worst Example.

This is who we should not be like. Haman. What an a-hole. Full of pride, he boasts only of how great and rich he is.

12 "And that's not all," Haman added. "I'm the only person Queen Esther invited to accompany the king to the banquet she gave. And she has invited me along with the king tomorrow." Esther 5:12

Whoopdeedoo. Very prideful man. But all this isn't enough for him. He has to be a hater on top of that. One man rains on his parade, and his name is Mordecai:

"13 But all this gives me no satisfaction as long as I see that Jew Mordecai sitting at the king's gate." Esther 5:13

So then his wife and friends tell him to build a gallows and have Mordecai hanged, and Haman isn't just pleased with this idea but delighted. How evil do you have to be to look forward to seeing a man killed? When some of us went shooting last weekend we were talking about how psycho a person has to be to be able to shoot other people let alone just one person. You seriously have to be deranged to wish death upon another's life that bad. Haman is an evil man who possesses characteristics that we should actively veer away from. Jealousy and pride leads to hatred, and hatred - death.
