Romans 16

" 17 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people." Romans 16:17-18

There are many charismatic speakers out there, and sometimes it's easy to get caught up in their messages. It's important to focus on what they are really saying and be able to discern whether their messages are biblical or not. Not saying that all charismatic speakers are frauds, on the contrary, charisma is definitely a talent- not something you can learn. But this is why it's important to keep up with reading the Word, so that if anyone says anything that goes against it, we are able to detect what is from God and what isn't.
