"31 but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal. 32 Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works." Romans 9:31-32
We need to keep in mind why we serve the Lord. We work as if the things we do actually matter in respect to our faith. But when we ask things like why do we have to do our QT? what if we don't feel like praying? we are questioning our faith. we don't let God work in us because we think that we got it all figured out- do some work at church, give your tithes, sing some songs to God and we're set for Heaven. wrong. without faith, without fully acknowledging and believing that Jesus died for our sins, our works are futile and in vain.
