Accountability

i'm really excited to be starting these accountability strings with some of the lcc high school girls. i remember how difficult it was for me to stay in the Word when i was in high school besides the fact that i had absolutely no one keeping me accountable for it and struggling with me. i guess that's where a lot of my leadership qualities carried over from into my college years. i felt like i could trust no one even with menial tasks. until now i just never understood the concept of struggling together. i always thought to struggle meant one person is down on the ground and you have another to pull you up. but i realize that to live like that and struggle like that as Christians it would be incredibly difficult. we need to be side-by-side one another carrying the cross together. "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:12 There is power in numbers especially when we pray. God hears the collective hearts of the broken and redeems us.
